Sculptor Daniel Edwards is opening about his Jay Z-inspired sculpture "Jay Z Cares and Shares," which features the emcee flanked by a number of Care Bears.
In an interview with Allhiphop.com, Edwards explains that he created the sculpture to support Jay Z amid calls for him to break ties with Barneys New York after allegations the luxury department store racially profiled an African-American customer.
Daniel says that Jay was "victimized" by people who demanded him to call off plans for a holiday clothing line at Barneys.
He also points out that Jay was the only person pressured to cut ties with Barneys over the profiling accusations.
